Hotel Rose City - Budapest

We recently stayed at rose city and had a wonderful experience. the location was ideal, just a short walk to margit hid and within easy reach of key attractions. the staff were friendly and accommodating, which made us feel right at home. our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed, including hot water and a clean bathroom stocked with towels and toiletries. parking was also available on the street, making it convenient for us.

The pillows offered little support 😕.

I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy vibe of the room and the comfortable beds! The cleanliness was on point too. Plus, the location is fantastic-so close to public transport, making it super easy to hop into the city center in a jiffy! The staff? Major thumbs up for being friendly and helpful!

But not everything was smooth sailing. The air conditioning totally didn't work, which was a bummer. getting hit with extra charges for breakfast and parking was a letdown since that was promised as free. Oh, and let’s not even start on the small bathroom situation—definitely needs some TLC!

During my recent trip to Budapest, I was eager to visit the Fisherman's Bastion for its amazing panoramic views of the city. I chose Rose City primarily for its convenient location, just a short distance from this landmark. What pleasantly surprised me was the multilingual staff at the reception; they were fluent in German, English, Hungarian, and Russian, making communication effortless. I enjoyed the cozy bar area where I could unwind after a day of sightseeing.

I booked a double bed and was given two single beds together.
